1973 - The founding year of the ANDRIST Sport shop

Founder Joos Andrist is still actively involved in the background today. Together we were able to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ANDRIST Sport in 2023 and look forward to shaping the next 50 years together with our brilliant team!

2021 - Opening of the new ANDRIST Bike & Lifestyle

After more than 30 years of bike hire, one of the company's goals was to get more involved in the bike business. In 2021, the perfect opportunity finally presented itself to take over a shop space right next to the Coop at Bahnhofstrasse 10 in Klosters. This entry into the bike business was successfully realised with the founding of ANDRIST Bike & Lifestyle.

2017 - Opening of INTERSPORT ANDRIST Davos

In spring 2017, our mother Renata Andrist will retire after 42 years in the business. This marks the end of a great era. She was more than just the face of ANDRIST Sport!

Thanks to the operation of the Weissfluhjoch sports shop, the great opportunity arose to build a modern ski hire shop with accessories sales and a depot at the Parsennbahn valley station in Davos. In summer 2017, the new building at the valley station and an extensive renovation on the Weissfluhjoch were realised. INTERSPORT ANDRIST Davos and Weissfluhjoch opened their doors on 1 November.

2016 - Flurin joins the management team

Flurin moves back home to Klosters with his wife Cristina after several years of teaching and travelling and joins the family business for good. Dumeng and Flurin take over the management and responsibility together in order to successfully continue the company in line with the vision and legacy of their parents and founders.

2014 - Foundation of the CARJANI brand

Dumeng and Flurin found the CARJANI brand. High-quality Hunting rucksacks for hunting in the mountains are produced under this name and distributed throughout the European Alpine region.

2013 - Dumeng takes over the management

Dumeng takes over the management. The service-orientated family business Andrist employs 16 employees 40 years after it was founded and is represented represented at five different locations in Klosters and Davos.

2011 - Takeover of the Weissfluhjoch sports shop with Bünda Sport Davos

Takeover of the sports shop on the Weissfluhjoch in partnership with Bünda Sport Davos. Ski hire, service, depot, kiosk and accessory sales are now all available under one roof in the centre of the ski area.

2009 - Remodelling of the ski department in the main store

Reconstruction of the ski department in the basement in a modern chalet style.

2007 - Remodelling of the ground floor of the main store

Complete remodelling of the ground floor with extension in rock crystal look.

2006 - Takeover of AHEAD FASHION

Dumeng and his wife Claudia take over the exclusive ladies' fashion boutique AHEAD FASHION at the old Bahnhofstrasse 9 in Klosters.

2001 - Opening of the Ski Service Centre & Dumeng joins the family business.

Opening of the Ski Service Centre at Gotschnastrasse 13, the first rental, depot and service centre in Klosters. Dumeng joins his father's business and turns Andrist Sport & Mode into a multi-generational family business.

1994 - Enlargement of the storage areas

An important investment is made: To increase the sales area, the storage area is extended underground.

1989 - First sanding robot in use

Purchase of the first grinding robot from Wintersteiger in Switzerland.

1982 - The extraordinary remodelling

The most unusual sports shop remodelling in Switzerland to date takes place. The entire shop interior is designed in Swiss stone pine. The new design attracts attention far beyond the region's borders.

1976 - Renata joins the family business

Renata Andrist joins the company in the customer service department and soon becomes the good soul of the company.
