In our range you will find highly functional first-layer hunting clothing that has been specially developed for the needs of modern hunters.
Our first layers are characterized by the following technical features:
- Fleece Material: Our mid-layers are made from high-quality fleece, known for its excellent thermal insulation. Despite its light weight, fleece effectively retains body heat and therefore provides optimal warmth in cooler weather conditions.
- Stretch functionality: To ensure maximum freedom of movement, we incorporate stretch materials into our mid-layers. This flexibility is essential for hunting as it allows the wearer to move freely and unhindered without clothing being restrictive or uncomfortable.
- Windstopper technology: Another important feature of our mid-layer hunting clothing is the use of windstopper technologies. This layer effectively protects against windy conditions by blocking the wind while maintaining high breathability. This keeps the body pleasantly warm and dry without overheating.
- First layer (base layer): The first layer, or base layer, has direct contact with the skin and is primarily responsible for moisture management. This layer is designed to quickly absorb sweat from the skin and release it to the outer layers to promote evaporation and keep the skin dry. Materials such as merino wool or highly functional synthetic fibers offer quick moisture wicking, are breathable and, depending on the material composition, offer additional temperature-regulating properties.
- Mid layer (insulation layer): The job of the mid-layer or insulation layer is to store body heat and protect the wearer from the cold. Materials such as fleece, down or advanced synthetic insulation create thermal insulation by trapping air. This layer also often offers flexibility and freedom of movement through the use of stretch materials and in some cases is equipped with quiet fabrics for hunting. Some mid-layers may also be windproof to provide further protection from cool breezes without compromising breathability.
- Top layer (outer layer): The outer layer, or top layer, serves as protection from wind, rain and snow. This layer is typically waterproof or water-repellent and windproof, designed with sturdy materials that are also breathable to prevent internal condensation. Modern membrane technologies such as Gore-Tex provide effective protection from the elements while transporting excess heat and moisture to the outside. Additionally, these jackets or pants often come with taped seams, water-repellent zippers, and adjustable features such as hoods and vents to allow for customization based on the weather and activity.
