The Dirt Hero is no ordinary balance bike, but a scaled-down enduro machine......designed to help MTB kids learn skills and build confidence on the trails.By developing a trail-ready wheel, we're helping kids develop their MTB skills earlier and easier, while helping families get out on the trail together. The Dirt Hero is suitable for 12- and 14-inch wheels, but can also be set up as a mullet bike. In our research, we have often seen children switch directly from a 12-inch balance bike to a 16-inch pedal bike. Such a big step can not only hinder their development but also affect their enjoyment of riding. The ability to gently transition from a 12-inch bike to a 14-inch bike (and then add brakes) before they have to take on a much heavier pedal bike ensures that children progress step by step and keep the fun going. For parents, it is a great advantage that they do not have to buy a separate 14" bike, but can simply upgrade their balance bike to continue having fun. Noteworthy are the seat tube angle (which allows the bike to grow with the child) and the dropout design, which increases the wheelbase together with the wheel size.
