ATOMIC Backland Tour touring binding (25/26)
The Atomic Backland Tour is a practical and super-light pin binding for touring. Like all Backland models, it is incredibly robust and at the same time easy to handle: the patented step-in aid on the toe piece automatically positions the boot correctly for clipping in. The two climbing aids can be folded forwards independently of the toe piece and offer three walking steps: 0°, 7° or 13°. In terms of performance, the Backland Tour comes with a 40 mm wide mounting plate - for maximum power transmission to wider skis (and a lower risk of the binding tearing out).Including stoppers, the binding weighs just 398g each, is compatible with standard crampons and can be adjusted in sole length by a full 50mm.Features: Touring stopper: with locking/opening system for easy switching between ascents and descentsPatented entry aid: positions the ski boot perfectly in the bindingClimbing aid (3-stage): One click with the pole is all it takes to effortlessly choose between three walking steps (0°, 7°, 13°)Crampon-compatibleAluminium/steel pin toe & heel: front/rear jaws made of aluminium/steel for low weight when climbing up and stability when skiing downTech Pins Fits the tech inserts of touring or freeride ski bootsLocking stoppers Stoppers with clever clip-in system hold the skis together - for easy shouldering and carrying
