STABLE, LIGHTWEIGHT 240 CM ALUMINIUM AVALANCHE PROBE WITH PFA QUICK-RELEASE SYSTEM AND RUBBER HANDLE
In emergency situations, speed is of the essence. That's why we have made our 240 cm aluminium probe even more efficient.
Thanks to the optimised PFA system, the ALU 240 PFA is now more COMPACT to pack and easier to handle. The quick-release loop enables immediate opening and tensioning with a single movement. All our probes have easy-to-read DEPTH MARKINGS and a clear 1-METRE MARKING to determine the burial depth and optimise the shovel strategy. The lowest segment in neon orange gives a visual indication of the proximity of the buried victim when shovelling. The new, improved RUBBERED HANDLE of the ALU 240 PFA also ensures safe, ice-free handling in all conditions.

PFA quick-release system 2.0
The successor to our often copied quick-release system has become even slimmer and therefore more PACK-FRIENDLY with the same infinitely variable clamping performance. The probe can be clamped directly from the sheath thanks to the NEW QUICK-CLAMPING LOOP. It is released by pressing your thumb against the system cover.
Ergonomic handle
The thin and light rubber coating ensures a perfect grip for quick tensioning of the probe.
Visual guidance system
The intuitive visual guidance system gives you a quick and clear indication of the PROBE DEPTH at all times. Thanks to the clear 1 m marking, the CONTRAST-RICH DEPTH SCALE and the COLOURED END SEGMENTS, you can OPTIMALLY ADAPT your SHOVEL STRATEGY and save important time. The lowest, neon orange segment shows you when you are approaching the buried object.
Quick-release sleeve
The quick-release loop enables immediate OPENING AND TENSION WITH ONE HAND GRAB, without having to remove the probe from the sheath first.
Voluminous probe tip
The significantly larger diameter than the probe elements promises better penetration.
