EXTREMELY LIGHTWEIGHT AVALANCHE PROBE WITH A LENGTH OF 240 CM FOR REGULAR USE
At 185 g, the CARBON 240 SUPERLIGHT is the lightest probe from ORTOVOX. With a length of 240 cm, the probe is quickly and easily tensioned using the Quick-Lock tensioning system. It is ready for use in seconds and can be released and folded up again just as quickly. The tension can be easily readjusted by simply turning the optimised adjusting screw. The voluminous probe tip, which has a significantly larger diameter than the probe elements, promises better penetration. We have also optimised the probe segments, which now have a more compact packing size. This means that the CARBON 240 SUPERLIGHT fits easily into your touring rucksack.
As with all probes, the CARBON 240 SUPERLIGHT has a visual guidance system with depth markings and a clear 1-metre marker.
Visual guidance system
The intuitive visual guidance system gives you a quick and clear indication of the DEPTH OF DEPTH at all times. Thanks to the clear 1 metre markings, the CONTRAST-RICH DEPTH SCALE and the COLOURED END SEGMENTS, you can OPTIMALLY ADAPT your SHOE STRATEGY and save important time. The lowest, neon orange segment shows you when you are approaching the buried object.
