Introduced in 1970 as the Racetiger, no other Völkl ski epitomises performance and success as much as the Racetiger. The Racetiger SL shows its strengths in the slalom and on the piste, in tight turns and wherever lightning-fast edge changes, responsiveness and a constant glide in a class of its own are required. The Racetiger SL is equipped with Tailored Carbon Tips. Tailored carbon fibres make it possible to adapt the ski precisely to the requirements for which it is to be used. The strength and orientation of the fibres define the force you need to apply and the energy that builds up in exactly the right places, which means an agile shovel response with a precise reaction the moment you initiate a turn. The SL can be steered around the tightest corners with less effort, without losing precision and control. It owes its performance to a short and flat tip rocker and, above all, its geometry in the tip area. A narrow waist ensures very dynamic, responsive handling with highly precise edge changes. These characteristics are perfectly rounded off by 3D glass, two full layers of Titanal and the familiar multi-layer wood core as well as the R-Motion 3 GW binding.
