Introduced in 1970 as the Racetiger...
...no other Völkl ski stands for high performance and success like the Racetiger. On the slalom course or generally on the piste in tight radii and wherever lightning-fast edge changes, reaction speed and consistently fantastic gliding properties are required, the Racetiger SL shows its strengths.
In the coming season, the Racetiger SL will feature Tailored Carbon Tips for the first time. The tailor-made carbon fibres allow the ski to be optimally adapted to its area of use. The strength and orientation of the fibres define the required effort and energy build-up in exactly the right places. This enables agile shovel entry with precise response directly at turn initiation. The slightly shortened and flattened tip rocker and, above all, the slightly modified geometry play a large part in the improved performance. The narrower centre width enables a much more dynamic, responsive ride with precisely controlled edge changes.
Binding: RMOTION3 12 GW
The highlight is the two rear screws, which are no longer fixed, allowing the binding to glide freely and the ski to move harmoniously through the entire binding line with improved edge grip without being blocked.
