2023 - 50 years of ANDRIST Sport

Founder Joos Andrist is still actively working in the background today. We can celebrate the 50th anniversary of ANDRIST Sport together and look forward to shaping the next 50 years together with our brilliant team!

2021 - Opening of the new ANDRIST Bike & Lifestyle

After more than 30 years of renting bikes, one of the company's goals was to get more involved in the bike business. In 2021, the perfect opportunity finally presented itself to take over a retail space right next to the Coop at Bahnhofstrasse 10 in Klosters. This entry into the bike business was successfully realized with the founding of ANDRIST Bike & Lifestyle. n }}

2017 - Opening of INTERSPORT ANDRIST Davos

In spring 2017, our mother Renata Andrist will retire after 42 years with the company. This marks the end of a great era. She was more than just the face of ANDRIST Sport!

Thanks to the operation of the Weissfluhjoch sports shop, the great opportunity arose to build a modern ski rental shop with accessories sales and a depot at the valley station of the Parsennbahn in Davos. In the summer of 2017, a new building was built at the valley station and an extensive renovation was carried out on the Weissfluhjoch. On November 1st, INTERSPORT ANDRIST Davos and Weissfluhjoch opened its doors.

2016 - Flurin joins the management team

After a few years of teaching and traveling, Flurin and his wife Cristina are moving back to their home town of Klosters and are definitely joining the family business. Dumeng and Flurin will jointly take on operational management and responsibility in order to successfully continue the company in accordance with the vision and legacy of their parents and founders.

2014 - Founding of the CARJANI brand

Dumeng and Flurin founded the CARJANI brand. Under this name, high-quality hunting backpacks for hunting in the mountains are produced and sold throughout the European Alpine region.

2013 - Dumeng takes over management

Dumeng takes over management. The service-oriented family business Andrist employs 40 years after its founding, 16 employees and a total of represented at five different locations in Klosters and Davos.

2011 - Takeover of the Weissfluhjoch sports shop with Bünda Sport Davos

Takeover of the sports shop on the Weissfluhjoch in partnership with Bünda Sport Davos. Ski rental, service, depot, kiosk and accessory sales are now all available under one roof in the middle of the ski area.

2009 - Renovation of the ski department in the main store

Renovation of the ski department in the basement in a modern chalet style.

2007 - Renovation of the ground floor of the main store

Complete renovation of the ground floor with an extension in a rock crystal look.

2006 - Take over of AHEAD FASHION

Dumeng and his wife Claudia take over the exclusive women's fashion boutique AHEAD FASHION at the old Bahnhofstrasse 9 in Klosters.

2001 - Opening of the Ski Service Center & Dumeng joins the family business.

Opening of the ski service center at Gotschnastrasse 13. It is the first rental, depot and service center in Klosters. Dumeng joins his father's business and turns Andrist Sport & Mode into a multi-generational family business.

1994 - Expansion of storage areas

An important Investment is made: To expand the sales area, the storage area is expanded underground.

1989 - First grinding robot in use

Purchase of the first grinding robot from Wintersteiger in Switzerland.

1982 - The extraordinary renovation

The most extraordinary sports store conversion in Switzerland to date is taking place. The entire shop interior is designed in pine wood. The new design attracts attention far beyond regional borders.

1976 - Renata joins the family business

Renata Andrist joins the company in the customer service department and soon becomes the good soul of the company.

1973 - The year ANDRIST Sport was founded

Joos M. Andrist founded the company Andrist Sport & Mode in Klosters.
